This event was last at Norden Farm less than an year ago, in September 2009.
Shelagh Delaney was just nineteen when she wrote A Taste of Honey, first performed by Joan Littlewood's Theatre Workshop in 1958 and filmed in 1961.
Jo's relationships with her irresponsible mother, the Nigerian sailor who leaves her pregnant and the homosexual art student who moves in to take care of her while she waits for the baby to be born, are chronicled in Delaney’s play which has become a modern classic.
LOVE&MADNESS Artistic Director, Neil Sheppeck directs.
Please note: This event takes place at the West Wing Arts Centre, Slough.
